Hi there,
I've been having some strange symptoms the last couple of months, not sure if it is MS or if there could be something else wrong. I keep getting these terrible headaches and eye pain. It's almost like a dull ache behind me eyes and my eyes feel like they want to cross infront of each other which then leads the a mind numbing head ache.
Several things can bring it on like flourescent lights and bright sunlight, i have to wear dark glasses almost all the time because of it. Sometimes being in a car can bring it on. I start to feel motion sick but i'm never actually sick which then causes the headache and sometimes i just go light headed. It suddenly feel like the room is moving around vertigo. I feel like i'm going to fall over my own feet and that again will cause one of the headaches.
I also seem to always get pain in my chest and down my arm with the headaches. It's like a dull deadened ache around the front of my chest and across my shoulder blades leading all the way down my arm and into my hands.
Does anyone else have anything like this?

I am sorry you are not feeling well.  You certainly have some awful symptoms.  I am a total whimp about headaches.  I know you have posted her a little for that last couple months.  Have you seen a doctor yet?  We cannot diagnose you of course.
You could start with a really thorough eye exam with an opthalmologist (not an optometrist).  If you have Optic Neuritis, the doctor can very often see it as inflammation in the optic nerve during a routine exam.  Optic neuritis is a common MS problem.  For many, MS starts as Optic Neuritis.
With the headaches, you should go see your PC or go to a neurologist.
The light sensitivity is not usually a symptom of MS.  Your symptoms could be MS, but they could be so many other things as well.  You really need to get to a doctor.  Good luck and let us know what he/she says.

from what i have been researching on migraines, it sounds like you could be suffering from an atypical migraine. those seem to be the symptoms associated with them. check it out and definitely (as gretchen said) see you pcp and/or neuro about it...

Sorry about those nasty symptoms. The strange thing is that there may be a connection between MS & migraines (in my experience). My mother had RRMS from her youth (misdxed as rhematic fever) & terrible migraines with extreme sensitivity to sunlight, bright lights etc, wore dark glasses all the time. When she became SPMS she never had a migraine again and bright lights did not worry her!?

My daughter had abdominal migraines from 4yrs to 8 yrs (which went together with motion sickness just like you describe). They seemed to be triggered by the stress of starting school and were finally diagnosed when she was 8 & successfully treated with a prophalactic Inderal (a medication for blood pressure?) She is 26 now, does not have MS, and knows if she gets a stomach ache its stress and also triggered by too much caffeine and sometimes eggs.

In our family the most NB thing seems to find a dr who has dealt with someone with the same symptoms. Drs had no idea what was wrong with my daughter until I and met a lady at bridge who had a daughter with the same symptoms and sent me to her pediatrician.

Good luck. Keep looking and try lots of different drs.
Have had relapsing/remitting MS since 10 yrs old. Secondary/progressive since 1995. Baclofen pump since 2008.

My husband has MS, and he has had similar symptoms. He also has some light sensitivity issues, but they weren't related to brightness. We got him some clear glasses (from a prescription place, just without the prescription) to get the UV protection, and those helped with his eyes.  So weird, but true.
