So, i've been having many symptoms for a number of months--my biggest problems being balance, jerky eyes, frequent urination, massive muslce twitches in my fingers and legs, muscle cramps--which i thought were horrid and could not get any worse until last week, when the muscle in my upper arm started burning.......when i say it was the worst pain ever, i mean WORST.....i thought i was going to have to make an er trip. I could feel the muscles cramp, they made my fingers go numb. I called my neurologist, who happens to be terrible, and he decided not to call back. I thought maybe it was just a pulled muscle or something. But 2 days later i had the same thing in the other arm....I called neurologist again....still no return call. The next day, i had a migraine--I have always gotten migraines. But the whole thing was different, the aura, the pain. The next day i had a difficult time walking, my legs and feet would uncontrollably shake and i ended up breaking 2 glasses because i could not hold onto them. Finally my neurologist called back and ordered a repeat brain mri. Which came back negative of course......Im headed to a neurologist that specializes in ms, from what i read you can still have ms with no lesions, because they take time to show. This week was great for me, i felt great, had some energy. I really need some advice, Im starting to feel like im going crazy............
God will Give me nothing i cannot handle--i just wish he didn't trust me so much

Hey Jenn,
I am sorry you are still have so many problems.  I hope the new neurologist can give you some answers.  It is good news that you have a normal MRI.  It means you still have a chance to be diagnosed with something curable/treatable.
Again, it is true that some people have symptoms before lesions show up, but until you have lesions that can't be explained by anything else, you probably won't get a dx or treatment.  You will get something like "probable MS"  and you will be put on a watch and wait schedule.  If you don't have lesions develop in the next 12 - 24 months then that will be recinded and you will be back to searching for causes.
I hope you get some answers soon!  I am sure limbo is hell.  It is no wonder you are so frustrated.

I have no lesions on my soul and so I will live with no limits.
