Hi!!  I am a 31 year old female and have noticed something new with my body.  Lately I have had a lot of "vibrating/buzzing" in my legs and feet.  I only seem to notice it when I am sitting down or when I am sleeping.  It comes and goes and is not constant.  Sometimes I noticed my tongue feels funny - just the very tip of it... like it's extremely sensitive to cold.
Anyway, those are the only things I am feeling.  I do have really bad anxiety but I am really wondering if I have MS.  Sometimes I'll be sleeping, wake up and feel weird twinges throughout my body - it's hard to explain (like I am lightheaded but only feel it from the stomach area down).  I honestly don't know if it's anxiety or not.  My DR does not think anything is wrong.. but scheduled me for an MRI.  I started freaking out during the MRI and couldn't have it done.
But now I don't know if I should do it or not because I don't know if I am imagining this or not.  I know the buzzing feeling is there off and on but I don't go numb.. it's not constant and I don't feel it when I walk.
My mom has bad circulation and I am wondering if that is a possibility.
Any ideas/suggestions?

Hello Hayes, welcome to Healing Well.   Symptoms of MS typically don't come and go like what you are describing, instead when in a flare stay for at least 24 hours or more.   Sometimes when dealing with anxiety, I know that it helps me if my body starts doing something new, is to investigate and see if its something else.   Peace of mind is a wonderful thing, especially if one has anxiety issues.   If this has been a problem for a long time, it certainly couldn't hurt to do that.  You could also think about the anxiety itself and treat that differently than what you are doing now.  I was able to treat my anxiety mentally for many years, but life situations changed and I'm back on meds again..hopefully not forever though =)  Check out the anxiety forum here too,  its a great forum also.   Good luck and I hope you start to feel better soon.
