Hello All,
I had my LP yesterday due to not being able to have a brain MRI because of having braces on my teeth. I am fortunate I can look up my own results because of working in the medical field, which I did today to see if anything is back. So far part of it is back stating my CSF Protein is high at 67, normal range per the lab is 15 - 45, does anyone know what this means? My neurologist is great and knows 100% it is MS that I have, but he needs a definitive marker, which is the LP. As soon as I exhausted all efforts with an ortho doc and others over the last several months I was referred to him. He looked over everything, gave me an exam and said you have MS. Does anyone know if a CSF Protein of 67 is an indicator of MS? I have all the classic symptoms, numbness, tingling, pins and needles sensation, optic neuritis, and the list goes on.
Thank you!
