Hi Lindz,
I've been on Tysabri for the last 2 years and am coming off it in Janurary.  It has been a great drug for me, I had no relapses while on it and had increased energy and decreased symptoms.  The risk of PML goes up the longer you are on it, and I lost my health coverage for it, otherwise I'd love to stay on it forever!
I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

Hi Lindz,

I have been on Tysabri for more than three years, and I just completed my 41st infusion the day before Thanksgiving.

Even though I was one of the MS patients that testified (via videotape) before the FDA AC in March 2006 in an effort to return this medication to the market & being successful with my fellow MS patients in doing so, my greatest joy has been that Tysabri has My MS stable since October 2006, having no relapses since that time, and my recent MRIs show no new lesions, and other MS patients are benefiting from Tysabri as well, woo hoo!

Have you discussed Tysabri with your treated neurologist, & is he/she Touch Certified prescribed Tysabri? This will usually be your best bet.

For more accurate information about Tysabri, you can go to:

My blog which is also my Tysabri Diary:

And also: which highlights the following data:

MS Patients Treated with Tysabri Remain Free of Disease Activity for Two Years

The information on the √Član website (√Član is the company that discovered Tysabri and is a co-partner/manufacturer with Biogen) is filled with Tysabri news releases for the years 2009, 2008, 2007, 2006, & 2005.

If you have any questions about Tysabri that your neurologist cannot answer for you, please feel free to send me a message and I will be more than happy to help you if I can...,

Take care dearheart, and I'm sending you many, many supportive hugs--Lauren cool
