I have been having some significant neuro issues going on for several months.  For the past 2 months I have undergone test after test to determine what the problem is.  Each test I have had done is abnormal.
A few days ago I had a Lumbar Puncture and neurologist ordered a ton of tests.  but he says I have a demylenating central nervous system and I am not sure if he is thinking MS or not but he did order quite a few tests for MS.
My EEG and vEEG were abnormal and at first they thought I was having seizures.  But not epiletic activity was seen, but signigfcant brain irritation was seen on the vEEG (72 hours).
My SPECT scan was very abnormal.  Showed moderate to severe brain degeneration in the frontal lobes and some encephalitis.
MRI was essentially normal I think.  There was something wrong cant remember exactly what but I think it was some type of infallmation in my sinuses maybe?
Blood work has been funky, had high CRP, low B12 (pernicious anemia) c..
I have not really sat down and looked at the full spectrum of MS symptoms yet.  Yes, in case some were wondering, I have been tested for Lyme (positive on band 41 and 66 only )and the NEuro also had lyme drawn in the CFS as he thinks it is possible that I have neuro lyme, but we wont know thoses tests until next week

Sorry for all that you're going through ... I haven't any ideas, I'm afraid, but I am interested and I'll be thinking of you. Have you had your results back yet? If so, I hope they came with lots of help, advice and a cure. Best wishes.

Sorry that you are having a tough time. I can relate because I'm also dealing with neurological issues and numbness.
My lumbar puncture indicates MS however my MRI's of spine and brain show no lesions.

How long have you been dealing with lyme? Can you share some details of the neurological problems you are experiencing?

Hope that you get some answers soon.
