I was diagnosed with Addisons in October of "09. I take steroids daily (40 mg hydrocortisone, and .1mg fludrocortison). Seems like every time my immune system gets stressed (I always increase my steroid doses at these times) I have these weird spells. I get serious brain fog, there have been times when I could hardly speak ( I sounded like I was drunk), and for the past two yrs my pinky finger and ring finger on my left hand has been tingly constantly. I get the tingly feeling other places too. Sometimes, I feel like there is a boa constrictor sqeezing me around my chest. (Not panic disorder..seen a doctor, and that has been ruled out). These spells last from anywhere to a couple of days, to the longest time was close to a month. I have been dealing with this the best I can, but it is hard not to get anxious (sp) about
this, especially when I am having a spell. I can say that rest helps, but doesn't fix it. I am a meter reader for a power company, so I walk many miles a day, and have found that the mmore I go, the worse it gets sometimes. I would appreciate any response.
