I would like to say that I am experiencing new symptoms.  I get shooting pain in my legs. The pain is like a shock treatment. It is a horrible pain. What I would like to know is if anyone out there experiencing the same, or have experienced this pain and what can I do about it.  Can there be a natural way to relieve this for me? Thanks to all of my MSers out there for caring about one another.

My legs hurt so badly. Sometimes maybe when it is starts it might feel like shock and when I sleep (which is rarely), my legs jerk like they are being shocked. They just just all the time. I have found some relief in massage therapy. If you haven't tried it give it a shot. Good luck.

may not be the same pain, but i get sharp grating stabs like a vegetable peeler is taking off layers of skin and flesh. also got woken up by a particularly bad burning/grating pain. my toes feel like they're trying to knot themselves together. all this is on my ms leg....
but i believed in my doctor and he injected botox in the affected areas, and i have been somewhat painfree. getting close to time for another injection. also on baclofen which helps somewhat.    linda

  I have been swimming for 2 months now.  3 times a wk.  just do what you can.  It has
helped me more than any turn therapy so far.  Good luck..

Swimming is great. I have often thought that swimming would make me feel better but I don't have anywhere to do it. I am glad to hear that it is helping you. I must find a way to do it.
