Hi, I have a question if anyone has a better answer than the half of one I got the other day it would be awesome! Last Friday, I wooke up and I seriously thought someone was driving nails into the bottom of my big toe . The only thing I've ever had comparable to it was when I had kindney stones. on the pain scale, it was a 20. My husband thought I was nuts, i just sat there and cried, and not little whimpers, but big baby tears. I went to the ortho, and he gave me something called meloxicam? And then I made an appointment with myu family doc and got blood work, but it was after a week of being on the meds. As of that point my uric acid level was in the mid 5 range, so I don't have a definitive answer yet. Has anyone else experienced this? I can only tell you that the top of my foot by my toe was an errie red color, and was super swollen. My ortho wants to mri it next week so i can only assume something would show up there? I dunno. Oh well. Any help or answer is appreciated. I already have an autoimmune disease so i see docs all the time anyway ( CIDP) and I deal with pain daily, but THIS was unbelievable. Thanks everyone.
