I was diagnosed with ms earlier this year after one attack of a numb foot that lasted for three weeks. Now I have been experiencing some weird jerkiness in the shoulders as I move my arms in certain ways. This is not visible to others. However, it can be felt as a cogwheel-like movement at the shoulders. It's been going on for five days now. I also experience some shakiness in my legs. I have no loss of muscle strength, or coordination in arms or legs. I have no balance issues. Has anyone else had movement-related jerkiness like this? Could it be a relapse that will go away? I really hope it will disappear because it bothers me during any kind of activity in my daily life...

I have sort of the same symptom, however it involves my legs. I especially notice it when I am climbing or descending stairs. It is kind of like a click type jerking. Is that what you are experiencing? I am also hoping someone has some insight on this. Hope you feel better soon!

Thanks for your quick reply. I'm not exactly sure what you mean by click... One way I could describe is bumpy oldfashioned washboard. Again, this is something I feel at the shoulder during an arm movement. Also, I forgot to mention there is no involuntary movement. It came on so suddenly and I just wish it would go away. I feel awkward using my body. Please share anyone who can relate to this... Thank you in advance!
