I have been taking Copaxone with the auto inject and the needle went in to deep I think because I shot myself in the belly it was set on 10 but I didn't realize it and after the shot I had the worst pain in my right side in the front and in the back it didn't stop for like an hour now it's real tight and hurts to bend anyone else experience this? What should the depth be set on for your stomach. confused

Hey Kim,
I don't use the auto inject thing.  It sorta creeped me out.  I just inject manually.  I am inject much slower and that causes me less pain and smaller lumps.  I don't know about a setting.  I never used the auto inject.  You might try manual injections.  It has been very easy for me.  Good luck.

Hi Kim,
I agree with Gretchen on giving the manual injections a try, it is much easier in the long run once you get past the initial gosh I'm sticking a needle in me thing.   The settings on the auto injector can be tricky to figure out, you gotta play with the depth and its different for everybody, and not the same everywhere either.  At the very most I'd go with a six to start and possible even a four, see how it goes for you.  Good luck!

I have used both the autoject and manually and both work well for me. Make sure to call Shared Solutions! Even after two years, I have called them with random questions! Best of luck! :)
