Hello, I post in the Fibromyalgia section, but I got results back on an exray that says they found a lesion. It has crossed my mind from time to time that I could really have MS instead of Fibro or possible both? Can ya'll help interpret my exray? I have not had an MRI yet but will soon.

no fracture, disc disease, or prominent arthritis

Non-aggresive appearing lucent lesion with sclerotic rim in L1 vertebral body of approximately 6 mm.

Findings: mild convex left scoliosis across the thoracolumbar junction five lumbar type vertebral bodies. No pars defect. No fracture or disc narrowing. Small lucent focus in the L1 vertebral body as seen on the lateral view with a well defined sclerotic rim.

I can make sense of most of it, but I'm trying to interpret the rest. Thanks!

They way it says "on the vertebral body" seems to indicate this this object is on your bone.  That would not have anything to do with MS.
That does not mean you don't have MS, but I can't imagine MS lesions showing up on an x-ray.  If you suspect MS, you need to see an MS specialist (neurologist).  It is common to be diagnosed with Fibromyalgia before MS.  It can be a misdiagnosis or it is possible to have both.  Best of luck to you.

Yes, I guess that would make sense. I'll just have to wait and see what the MRI says I guess. Thanks for your input (sp?)
