Hi,
I was diagnosed with MS about 2 years ago. Just recently I found out through a new doctor I have been seeing that my vit. d levels were extremely low. Upon researching, I found that low levels of Vit. D can cause flares of MS symptoms. My first doctor never took primary levels of my vit. d before diagnosing me with MS. I have only had symptoms at time of diagnosis 2 years ago, numbness and tingling of lower extremities. Does anyone know if my diagnosis of MS could have been premature, and that maybe it was just the extremely low levels of Vit. D that caused those symptoms?
