Ok so, the symptoms I am about to describe to you all started in my left pinky 6 or 7 years ago. First off, I am a 22 yr old male. For years my tingling started in the lower parts of the limbs....possibly even at an earlier period later than 7 years. My condition has gotten worse over the years to where it hs spread from my hands and feet, now to me left side of face/scalp! This happends mostly at night, but does exist mildy throughout the day. I also sometimes have what feels like a worm, or something slithering in my abdomin when lying on my stomach. I occasionally get facial twitches and little spasms maybe like once or every other day. I have noticed in 2008 one day when looking up at the sky many moving small blue lights--pretty much occurs when looking at someting white, but does not happen on solid colours or in darkness?! I get what feels like hot flashes when when i get hot. I hate to describe them like that as i know they only happen to women lol. I am worried about neaurological factors. My mother recently had 2 brain mass removals and i have been freaked about my symptoms. I dont have any balance issues and my vision is very good, although I see lots of floaters. I saw two doctors, one said anxiety and the other found that i had low vitamin D. It cant be low vitamin d because these symptoms are too persistant! Please help

It can be vitamin D. Be sure and supplement with plenty of it. I take 4000 IUs each day.

You do sound very anxious. Be sure and treat the anxiety to rule that out as the cause.

Your symptoms are very vague and are shared by a many other diseases and illnesses. If you still suspect MS, then you will need to see a neurologist. He or she can give you a complete neurological exam. The doctor will check for abnormal responses and abnormal reflexes. If MS is suspected than an MRI will be ordered. The MRI is just the beginning.
Diagnosed with MS July 2006

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.
