I'm a 21 year old male and it's been nearly 7 months ago now where i noticed in the bath that my hands were slightly shaky and ever since then the symptoms have just piled on and on. I'm just going to list them because there are so many.

Tingling feet and hands.
Light Sensitivity in eyes
Eye Floaters
Burning pain in eyes if stare at the same place for too long
Dizziness- sometimes feels as if the ground is moving (feels worse on some days than others)
Itchy Skin (this appeared recently and happens in random places, but mostly on my scalp)
Burning Skin (appeared around the same time as the itchy skin and comes and goes at random times)
Muscle weakness when exercising (my muscles will feel really weak when exercising even for a short tim, especially if i move them in a rhythm)
Bladder\Bowel Urgency (i can control it but it still comes on pretty strong.)
Cracking Joints (whenever i rotate my wrists or feet, or move my knees in a certain way you can hear a loud, unnatural cracking sound.)
Muscle Fasciculations\spasms (happened relatively early)
Back Pain (another recent symptom, normally happens if i'm sitting down for too long with by back unsupported)

Yeah i think thats pretty much it. I went to see a neurologist about 3 months ago and he done some strenght\eye tests and said that i showed no sings of parkinsons or ms and that it was most likely anxiety. He Recommended that i have b12, thyroid, kidney and liver tests and all came back normal except that my b12 was slightly low, but again the doctors said that they didn't really need to do anything and it was anxiety. I was pretty anxious before the symptoms started but i doubt that is what is causing the symptoms. The symptoms are not really that disabling but they are causing me to be very depressed and stressed out.

My parents seem to agree with the doctors that it is just anxiety and they don't really know the stress that the symptoms are causing me. Were hand tremors anyone else's first symptoms

I was 29 when diagnosed with MS. I had the tingling in feet and hands also a great deal of numbness. My feet would burn like walking though hot coals. I couldnt feel anything with my hands and had no control of them. Had this electric feeling run down my spine when I bent my head to look at my feet or throw my hair over to blow it dry .. Dizziness, muscle weakness, bladder urgency, spasms, back pain and headaches. This is a hard thing to get drs. to diagnose especially at a young age. MRI and a spinal tap to be sure this is what you have.. I knew something was wrong and I started pushing for answers got a second opinion. It also runs in my family with two others having it a cousin and great aunt. Very hard to live with but just have to have limits...

Hi there, your symptoms also sound a lot like Chiari Malformation, which I have. An MRI will rule this out. I tell you this because if you have CM you should never have a spinal tap or lumbar puncture. Many of the CM symptoms overlap with MS. If you want to read up on your symptoms, is a good website. Sometimes, people have both diseases. Good luck.

I also have Chiari Malformation and I agree, the symptoms are the same.. an MRI will show if you have the lesions on the brain.. My sister has MS so I know some about that also.. There is another website that is great.. www.
