Hi my name is Diane & I am new here

I have been suffering a lot of MS symptoms since 1997 - was living in the Florida heat! Didn't know what was wrong and couldn't get answers so I thought it was humidity (heat never bothered me before) so my husband & I moved to the Las Vegas dry climate in 2003. My heat intolerance has got worse since then.

Diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue syndrome in 2006 and MS in 2010. The summer heat Makes my symptoms of fatigue, weakness, concentration and other symptoms 100 times worse. I have not worked since 2007 due to extreme fatigue.

Here is my dilemma: I know I need to be in a cooler climate to have some quality of life as the heat is affecting this so bad I am a prisoner in my home for 6 months of the year in Vegas and have been suffering this heat sensitivity problem for 14 years that I can't take it anymore!! Even my Neurologist has twice told me I need to move to a cooler climate.

So here's the problem: My husband hasn't taken much interest in my MS and we have other marriage problems. We found a perfect course to work on our marriage and get it back together: sadly my husband - a very educated computer professional who "consults" has earned a lot of money BUT has not managed it so we have no savings and have lost all the equity in our home. I have come up with a solution - we save 6 or so months worth of living expenses, rent out our home in Vegas, he secures a permanent job in the area we decide to move and we rent a house there.

The issue is this: my husband's requirements before we consider a move is to have half million dollars cash in the Bank. This is totally unattainable. We have never had that much money and even though he gets well paid we just cover our monthly expenses so saving half million dollars is NOT going to happen.

This year I am going home to the UK just for 2 months but I will still be suffering another 4 months of the heat. Going to UK every summer I would have to go for longer after this year as I can't take the heat even now - plus living apart for 6 months and leaving my home and 5 dogs behind is not acceptable and I doubt our marriage will survive this long-term, and it will be a huge expense.

My husbands requirements to have all this money before we relocate are not only unattainable but I don't feel like he is making a compromise for me to have a better quality of life: he does "sympathize" with my illness but he's not living with it like me so it's my quality of life that is severely affected.

And this marriage course online which has saved thousand of marriages and restores love and happiness sounds wonderful - but no matter how "happy" we are my husband will still not budge regarding relocating without having Half million dollars in cash under ANY circumstances....

Does anyone have ANY advice for me. My husband is NOT willing to change his mind on having half million dollars in savings so I don't know what to do. I want to save my marriage but I shouldn't have to compromise the rest of my life to be a prisoner in my home as it makes me so I'll does the heat. I have tried ALL the cooling products known to man gut they do not work in this desert heat!

Any advice is greatly appreciated. PS: because I havn't been working since 2006 I don't have any savings of my own and my husband is the sole financial provider.

can't help you with the half million, but there are cooling vests and caps out there that do help. also some  neckwraps that help.
i got cooling/heating gel paks on the internet and keep them in the freezer. when going out, wrap one in a bandana, stick it inside a cap and i'm ready to go. really helped when i was in costa rica.

Heat intolerance is a sign that your body is acidic.
Heat intolerance can be controlled.
1. You need to start doing yoga at least 3-5 days per week.
2. Also drink at  least 2 liters of cold water a day.
3. Juice veggies every day.
4. If you do,  stop eating animal products, including dairy.
5. Control your anger and avoid thinking negative thoughts
6. Make sure you are taking vitamin d, fish oil, b-complex and b12
These tips will ensure that your body is alkaline and the symptoms will leave you alone. Then, you can find a job and start saving money in a seperate account.  ( nono Never let a man control you!) Get healthy and strong.
