I usually post in the fibromyalgia forum, because that's what I have been diagnosed with a year ago. I have some symptoms that my doctors tell me thats not fibro but they have not tested me for MS yet. When I get physically active and it gets to the point to where I am doing to much when I get over heated on the inside I start getting dizzy, slight headache comes on, nausea and total fatigue. I feel like I have been drained of all my energy, and I get short of breath and my concentration and thinking get fogged and I can't just think or come up with what I want to say. I have to go lay down. I kinda feel like I have a 24 hr bug. I have told my gp and rheumy and they both just shrug it off like it's nothing. BUT it is a symptom of something, healthy people don't do this. I don't have high blood pressure, otherwise healthy that I know of, haha. I only take otc meds when I really need them. I have been told that it's pushing myself with the fibro, but I don't hear of alot of people getting this, just a few. I just thought maybe ms. I don't know if you can have fibro and ms together. My md did want me to see a neuro doc to rule out ms but he doens't think it's that. I was just wondering, thanks for any help.

You are describing a very classic symptom of MS. You should go see a neurologist. It would be best if you saw an MS specialist.

I have heard of both; people who have been diagnosed wtih both fibro and MS as well as people who were initially diagnosed with fibro and then later had that switched to MS.
Diagnosed with MS July 2006

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.
