I posted here a couple of years ago when my family doctor thought I may have had MS.  I went to see a Neurologist but he said my lesions weren't in a concerning part of the brain.  I was ecstatic!!  BUT,I am  having symptoms again, tired,weak,forgetfulness,headache,dizzy/off balance.  My original MRI showed 1 white lesion. I went 6 months later and there were 6 lesions. My question is should I see another neurologist since I am having these symptoms again? My concern is I could have started some kind of treatment 2 years ago,but if I am just now diagnosed I have wasted those 2 years,I guess I am worried about progression.  Any advice?

I would definitely seek a second opinion. This is extremely common. It's even more common in countries where there is a national health care program because MS is so espensive to treat.

You need to have both copies of your MRIs and the written reports that go with them. you also need to seek the opinion of an MS specialist. If you have an MS Society chapter near you, ask them for a list of MS specialists in your area.

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.
