take a pill twice a day (BG-12) that gives you gastrointestinal flushing and has an unproven safety profile

OR

an interferon that was only injected monthly similar to Avonex, Rebif and Betaseron that only gave flu-like symptoms for one day out of the month?

Why?

There are some upcoming trials that i am considering and want to hear some pros and cons.

I would rather take a pill enem though the side effects are bad. When I was on Avonex, it was the most painfull, I always bruised and had problems walking with that leg for 3 days, I was so sick with the "flu symptoms" that I was in bed 3-4 days after the shot. When I was on Rebif, I was sick for about 20 out of 30 days a month... Me personally, I would take the pill.
