I have been struggling with an "illness" for a while (couple years), but I can give you the day it seemed to take over my life (last nov). I was seeing a gi dr because of debilitating symptoms. He said that it seemed almost neurogenic. I went a few more times before I lost my job last dec. Each time he would give me a new name. He found that my pancreas has a birth defect and then started saying that was it (even tho it never bothered me before). PCP was no help. New PCP is just about as bad. Saw rheumy who poked me six or so times and said I have fibro.
So what am I doing here you may ask......well, I am wondering if you or someone you know that has been Dx with MS, had the autonomic nervous system affected? Do you have abd. issues? Severe pain. Stomach not moving like it should. Painful muscle spasms in abd. Can not tolerate wieght of rt arm against body. "Attacks" of abd pain and pressue (chest sides ...all the way around...even back) these can be severe and dramatic. They leave me extremely fatigued. These are mostly what my rheumy said at last visit...was NOT fibro...she is sending me to another gi.. I feel like I am going in circles.
These are not my only symptoms, however I do not notice a weakness (not that I am testing) or foot drop.
I have had sight blurring but lasts a minute.....I lose some hearing with a ringing sound but happens in both ears and ringing is almost constant (some hearing loss isnt). There are many more symptoms, but I will spare the rest.

Thanks for reading this and for any thoughts or ideas you may have on it. I usually do post in the fibro section, but alot of the feedback is that it doesnt sound like fibro... rolleyes

 I edited to change title.

So 68 people view this, and no one can take a moment to respond.
I am stil new to forums, but I am trying. I take time to read what others are dealing with and I try to connect and encourage. I thought that was what places like this were for. confused

Thanks for nothing

If this is MS, it's not typical. I suppose it could be what is referred to as the "MS Hug". Perhaps people didn't respond because they are unfamiliar with Fibromyalgia.

My MS vision issues don't really come and go. When I have a vision problem it comes, it develops and worsens then takes months to go away. Some of my vision problems have stayed.

I hope this helps.

By the way, it's very difficult to read large blocks of text that are not broken into small paragraphs. I tend to skip those. It's a vision issue for me.

Thank you so much for responding. You answered a very important question for me, in regards to duration.

I apologize for letting my frustration get the better of me.

In all respects, thank you for your time and consideration.
