Just wondering if anyone else has experienced these side effects. I started copaxone at the beginning of August. I noticed gradually the weight gain and hair loss. But I'm to the point where I am going to stop taking my injections--I can't take it anymore. I don't know what the alternative will be for me but I can't continue to feel this awful I thought that copaxone was the lesser of the evils and that's why I chose it... confused   Would love to hear other people's story! Be well.

Suzanne,

Those are not typical side effects for copaxone at all!! Please see your doctor. I have been on copaxone for over 6 years now and it's been fine. I've experienced no side effects besides a little pain and itching at the injection site.

How is your stress level? Both of those can be caused by stress, but there are all sorts of health issues that could be causing this. I hope you feel better soon. I hope you can get some answers to this situation.
Diagnosed with MS July 2006

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.

Thanks for your thoughts on this...I did just speak to my Neuro...he does think these symptoms are most likely the result of the Copaxone (and while they are not the most common side effects, they are side effects). Everyone reacts differently to the drug, I suppose. I was really hoping Copaxone was going to be the drug for me (because I definitely felt less fatigued on it). I am hoping BG12 will come out soon! Best of luck to you.
