I have positional tingling sensation(pins and needles) say when I put pressure on my limbs, all over my body. I do not have constant pins and needles sensation but I find it worsens with hot showers or direct sunlight on it or warm environment. Also when I slouch a certain way I have pins and needles sensation on left side of spine upper upper back. Also I have "visual snow" in my sight constantly and I get dizzy more often and have twinges of pain in my frontal neck collarbone and shoulders. It increases with physical activity. I had an MRI on my brain and a physical exam by neurologist and it came back clean. I am waiting for an EMG hoping its neuropathy(sensory) he doesn't think its MS and didn't bother doing mri on spine and neck because my pins and needles is all over my body and brain is central causing pins and needles all over instead with neck and spine I guess its only in certain spots. My main concern is that its MS because I FEEL THE PINS AND NEEDLES FROM HEAT and it lingers after the contact with heat(sun, hot shower or bath)

Please answer and im only 18. anxiety and suicidal thoughts so answer kindly( and no I don't have panic attacks so don't blame it on that) (direct heat)

Hello anonymous,

I completely understand your fear. I also have MS. The symptoms can be very scary. When I experienced tingling it was so bad that my legs would freeze up. My doctor prescribed me nuerontin also known as gabapentin and that did help me. But ultimately I changed my eating habits to a natural and healthy eating habits and that worked best. Not only did it eliminate tingling feelings but also improved my walking,, numbness, dizziness, endurance, pain, breathing, bladder, bowels, and vision. All of the above had been compromised by MS. There was a time when I was deeply depressed and had suicidal ideations.

The change in my eating habits/diet have also improved that and I didn't have to use medications for my depression. Although, I did consider medications for my depression and immediately changed my mind when the doctor told me that the depression medication can cause weight gain. I asked was there any depression medication that doesn't cause weight gain? No, was her answer to me. Not only did the diet change heal my depression but it improved all of my emotions and made me happier than I have ever been.

The neurologist says he doesn't think I have MS. I just don't know whats causing this pain especially when I am out in heat.

Get tested for Lyme Disease and have a MRI on both spines to check for herniations and pinched nerves.
