Hi there!! I am at the beginning of my dx journey, but am toggling between a neuro and rheummy to determine if this is a Lupus or MS thing (or something else).

I wanted to ask about B12 though. My dr's nurse just called and said my B12 came in at 230, a low-normal and that my level should be between 5-600 or so. Tomorrow I am going back in for an MMA test and I guess if that is high, it shows the B12 is not functioning? I have IBS and from what I can understand, B12 just may not be absorbing into my system. Injections can remedy the symptoms, which mimic MS and other autoimmunes very closely.

Does anyone have any experience with this? Just curious! :)

I don't know if I have low B12, I doubt it as I take a lot of B12. My favorite B12 though are strips that melt in your mouth from GNC. I just have problems finding them. You may want to talk to your local GNC and see if they help you because these get absorbed through your mouth.

I was low on B12 so I started taking Neuropathy support formula It has Bi and B12 Vitamins and also has R-Alpha Lipoic Acid. I had burning mouth and my leg's we're burning also, and it has went away. The doctor said that my blood test came back normal. Sometime's allot of our food's might not have the Vitamin's that we need the way they grow them.
