I am fair skinned 38 year old female, that has lived my whole life in Northern Climates and these are my symptoms:
Starting in December 2012
-Episodes of muscle trembling and dizziness starting in back and encompassing whole body, would last 20-30 mins, legs would shake and arms would shake, sometimes I felt like I would wet my pants. I would be in too much pain and too dizzy to even drive a car.
-Generalized dizziness and fatigue even without the tremors.
-swallowing problems where food packs up in my throat and I have to stop eating so my esophagus can "catch up" (this symptom has been gradually getting worse for a while
-migraine headaches for 9 years
-My worst symptom has been a burning pain around my middle that is usually on the left side but it will often wrap around my whole body. At it's worst it feels like I have a hot belt on in my insides, at best it feels like pressure. Nothing seems to help it. Not a position change or anything.(this was on and off since March but in the last three weeks it has been nearly constant)
I have all of the above symptoms, plus my most recent blood test showed a positive ANA test. Why would my doctor say I probably didn't need a neurologist? Doesn't that seem crazy? He said MS doesn't hurt. Thankfully I had a sympathetic OB/Gyn refer me and I am going to look into this anyway. Believe me that Doctor will hear from me if I end up getting diagnosed with a neurological disorder.
