Someone mentioned to me that tape worms can be a cure for MS today. Do any of you know about this? It does sound dangerous to me, but definitely I have mixed feelings. I thought there wasn't a cure? Sorry I don't know much about MS, but my other half has it.

SS,   I have heard this before and from what I have read, currently there is no cure for the neurological condition, but now researchers believe that a low dose of the Necator americanus - commonly known as the hookworm - may help relieve symptoms. Here is a link you may find interesting: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-2108228/Parasitic-worms-offer-hope-cure-multiple-sclerosis.html

Thanks Hon! Hugs. I am so reading that. As funny as this sounds, I ran a theory one day about the TV show House. I decided to put their medical knowledge to test with one of my doctors. I found out that the writers of House actually know what they were talking about and that it was the correct tests, treatments and so on. Anyways, there was this episode about a girl having a tape worm and it was really harming her body, seizures, and so much. So I know it is dangerous. And that is why I told gkuhs "honey, if you chose to do it, you and I are doing research and a lot first including having doctors monitoring very close."
