I have read on this forum about numbness in the limbs but does anyone experience a numb tongue?

Hi Gingeranne8. Indeed numbness can occur anywhere with MS. Have you been diagnosed? If you haven't, you may want to post your question on Lyme, Lupus, Fibrolyalgia and other boards that you think may have answers for you. Best of luck. Ask any questions about MS that you may have.

Thanks Gretchen. I haven't been officially diagnosed with anything an MRI of my head and neck showed no lesions. The only test I've had show a red flag at all was my first Lymes test. I guess I wanted to post in here is because I go back and forth since they are so similar and don't hear of many people in the Lyme forum complaining of a numb tongue. I am going to an intergrative medicine dr at the end if this month and am praying she can shed some light on it. Thanks for your reply

I should clarify when I say I go back and forth I mean some days I feel like maybe it's MS then others I feel maybe it's Lymes
29 yr old female prior to Feb 2013 healthy, outgoing, social, dating, active, worked out 4 times a week, taking no medications only multivitamin & calcium.

Current: Dizziness, numb tongue, si joint pain, fatigue, numbness in left leg, anxiety, out of body feeling that comes and goes, pain in rib cage, stay home except for work. I put on a "face" at work as hard as I can but it gets exhausting.

No lesions and a "red flag" Lyme test.......seems like you need to aggressively treat for Lyme disease. Be sure to post on the Lyme board. They are very supportive and informative.

Ask MS questions here. You are always welcome here. Best of luck to you!!
