I just saw an eye doctor for a routine eye exam as My sight is slipping a bit and I felt like I needed a stronger prescription. He spotted damage to my optic nerve.

Any thoughts on what I should ask the specialist for in the way of testing to either confirm MS or rule it out? Any input will be pare haired.

CanadianGuy,

I so wish I could say it sounds like nothing.

Your symptoms are disturbing and although I've not experienced what you have, you have symptoms that could be caused by MS. MS is a varied disease. It affects people differently. Vision problems are quite common. It's called Optic Neurotis.

Tests that are typically used for MS are : brain MRI, evoked potentials, lumbar puncture, blood work and a complete neurological exam.

I wish you the best. Please let me know how you are.

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.
