Where do I even start. Well, in a nut shell here is what I have been experiencing.

I have had Paroxysmal type attacks since my late 20's. The attacks last up to 7 minutes. I could have one to 7 attacks on any given day.....some days I do not have the attacks.
Toes, feet, hands, fingers tingle and feel like pins and needles at least six times a month.
I am always exhausted and the fatigue is getting worse.
I am extremely weak.
Horrible RLS and RLS ALL OVER MY BODY!
The top of my scalp and sides of my face have been tingling today for 3 hours so far.
Vitamin D very low.
Shooting, stabbing, pin prick like pains in legs and feet.
My eyes have been very blurry and light sensitive.
I have a slight resting tremor, and 0 lower leg reflexes.
Doc sending me to hospital next month. Do these symptoms sound like I might have MS? Thank you for all your support and information.

You certainly have very disturbing symptoms. I do hope you get answers and relief soon! I am wondering about the coming and going of your symptoms. They seem to do this quite quickly. I know for me, my symptoms come and stay or they leave very very slowly. Some symptoms have resolved after a few months and some after a year or more. I have many symptoms that seem to be permanent (5+ years).

The symptoms you have could point to MS. The pattern of experiencing those symptoms seems to point to something else. Do keep us posted. You are welcome to ask questions and get support here. Best of luck to you!!

Are you treating that low vitamin D? That alone can cause symptoms.

Thank you all for responding. I live in Alaska and I am 43 and yes, I have been taking 10,000 mil a day of Vit. D and doc will be reducing this in a few months. I have regained some energy now that I am the supplements. I used to drink alcohol and smoke cigs and those two things would definitely give me one of those attacks, now I get them from fatigue and stress and certain medication (i.e. Abilify for depression, which I have stopped taking) The medication I am currently taking is Prozac for depression and Prampexole for RLS. I was initially given TRILEPTAL for these symptoms but this didn't medicine didn't work and actually made it worse! While I am waiting for my Doc to get me into Swedish Neuroscience Institute she has given me the low dose of Sinemet, and I can't tell if it is working. It actually makes me even more exhausted and makes me walk like I am 100 years old. I was able to capture one of those attacks on video and I sent this to my doctor. Thanks for listening....all these symptoms make me feel isolated and alone. :(

LeeAnn,

We all have similar symptoms here so you're never alone here, LOL! Not knowing what is wrong is the worst feeling. No one here will attempt to diagnose you though...MS is hard enough for the experts to diagnose. There are many diseases that MS mimics. Hang tough and check back in often. Keep us informed of your diagnosis.

I quit taking all meds except 2 (Tysabri for MS and Ambien for sleep). All the antidepressants I tried seemed to make things worse so I quit them. I take a Magnesium supplement along with vitamin D3. It is supposed to help with energy. Eating a good diet helps immensely.

Good luck!
