I have been to 4 neuro doctors regarding a dx that has been given to me and they can't make up their minds on the DX. I was told by 2 dr's that the spinal tap was inconclusive but the CT states otherwise that I have the signs of MS. 2 said that Schilder's disease is very simular to MS but will not give me an answer. I was told they are very simular to one another but MS is more progressive and that they are leaning towards Schilder's. I can not find much on this condition. I find alot about MS and my appointments with my neuro is always durning the MS clinic. I do not take any of the MS drugs. Does anyone else know about Schilder's disease and where I can find more info? I have been to places like WEb MD and med pluse but I really can't find any more info.
It is Schilder's and not Schindler's. There is no "n" in the name I have asked the dr for the correct sspelling. Any help would be greatful.

Gosh, I had never heard of this. I poked around online. It seems similar to MS but it can be more serious. The information I found indicates that they are treated nearly the same. I am sorry I don't know more! I hope you can get answers soon.

Please keep us posted. Best of luck to you!
