can stiff painful legs that occur everyday and it is worse after sitting for awhile, like in a car,be an ms sign?also, bouts of weakness, dizziness, brain fog,and insomnia, along with terrible fatigue be symptoms?i have mood swings and depression as well.i have arrhythmias but that is another issue.i saw a neurologist but he was very rude and his comment was that he had no idea what was wrong with me and did a few simple tests in the office checking my reflexes and all was ok.I think he thought I have mental health issues.I never went back to him.I need to find another neuro but just wondering if these issues sound like ms?i also have acid reflux and cannot swallow capsules very well.I have more symptoms but am sorry for the long list I have already mentioned. Thanks for your time.If anyone wants to tell me their symptoms, please do.

Hi McGinnis,

Fatigue is a common MS symptom. Sore and stiff legs sound more like arthritis. Bouts of issues aren't typical for MS. People with MS have brain and central nervous system damage so symptoms are constant.

My symptoms are chronic vertigo and balance problems, vision problems, numbness from the knees down and some numbness in my left hand.

MS symptoms are extremely varied depending upon what part of the nervous system or brain has been damage. MS shares symptoms with many other diseases including RA, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, lupus and many more.
Diagnosed with MS July 2006

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.
