Hi guys, I'm new to this but starting to worry about my health.
I have been going to the doctor on and off for over 4 years now, not constant because I'm not that type of person (I always think I'm wasting their time) it started with really bad fatigue and anxiety, then later I was complaining of numb tingling in my fingers and toes. I had full bloods done and had them all checked again 6 months later, all fine.
I then started getting wierd head feeling almost like numbness but also a very mild headache. This had been going on for a while then I was asked to go to a ME/CFS meeting, I found this very patronising and some very daft suggestions. I left it at that for a bit but when fatigue aching eye sockets and lower back stiffness started setting in I went back to the doctor, this time I was referred to the neurologist I saw him in December. The neurologist ordered an MRI and told me he is checking for ms! I also saw the ENT doctor about hearing loss in one ear and also ear pressure when bending fOrward he also wants an MRI scan of my head done.
Now to the main points, sorry for waffling.
1. Does this sound like ms?
2. Me has already been put on my medical records

Some mornings when I wake feeling good I know it's going to be a bad day, my lower back will begin to get really tight, fatigue will set in and I will end up asleep on the sofa :( then when I wake up I feel no better.

It is really impacting my life now, I'm a heating engineer self employed but struggling to keep up, also a single parent with two boys at home 15 and 18. The 15 year old does not understand why I am asleep so much through the day.

I just want my head back, my energy back, my self confidents back(also suffering with erectile dysfunction) not good for a single dad wanting a relationship........... Really sorry for waffling any help greatly received.

Any ideas to what's going on?????

Ricky

Hi Ricky,

I added a subject. You may get more responses that way. The only symptom that sounds like MS is your fatigue. Fatigue is common to many diseases. The ear pressure sounds like fluid in your ear; perhaps an infection.

When will you receive your MRI? The results of that should come back quick. I receive mine in 3-5 days after the MRI. It just has to be read and the report written.

Welcome to the board. I hope you get some answers real soon!
Diagnosed with MS July 2006

I have no lesions on my soul and so I live with no limits.

I can relate and share your agony because those are the same symptoms I am/was having. I wound up in the ER in Aug '14 with initial symptoms mimicking a stroke . After they concluded it wasn't a stroke i was prompted to see a neurologist. A carotid doppler/ultrasound, two ct scans, three mri's, lumbar puncture, various blood tests , and a partridge in a pear tree i was finally diagnosed with MS this past January. Now, i am not saying or implying you have MS. There are a handful of diseased out there that mimic ms. Have you been tested for lyme disease or syphilis?

I have lupus and have had those symptoms. If you don't receive a diagnosis of MS go to a rheumatologist and get tested for lupus, and the other autoimmune diseases.

kind of ridiculous this censor thing. well in stars i should say p.o.r.n. The site is all about what excessive p.o.r.n surfing do with your brain. It's highly addictive and all kind of strange things can happen.
