Well, i just joined a few days ago.  Currently no diagnosis of anything at all they are still grasping at straws.  I had my first mri last july because of a 2 week headache, when the first lesion was found.  Since then have seen 4 neuros, had 5 MRI's, MMR, Cat scans, Spinal, Evoked potential, scope to heart, gallons of blood taken, Ecco Cardiogram, cortdid dopplar, sleep test, EEG. Been to er at least 5 times since july for symptoms similar to stroke, then in january had one of the mri's and still no change in lesion or new ones, so the neuro said that i must have had a stroke.  I wasnt feeling well a few weeks ago so went to the dr's office to get my blood pressure checked.  It wasnt too elevated, but they wanted me to see a dr first.  She did more blood work, x-ray and ordered the Ecco Cardio, Cortodid dopplar and wanted a new MRI to make sure no new bleed or blood clot was present, before she put me on plavix.  Well the arteries and ecco all came back great.  Its the MRI that didnt. I know have to lesions.  I just had my eyes checked today to make sure that was ok, but she said she has found spots (cloudy spots, aka dead) near my retina, so going back on saturday for a field vision test.  I do have a new appointment with a new neuro on Tuesday to hopefully narrow down something.  At this point, i just want them to say this is what you have, regardless of the dx or the outcome.
My mother was dx's with MS over 11 yrs ago.  My reg dr truely feels that its MS especially with the appearance of a new lesion.   I have had numbness, weakness, itching crawling skin, pin prick and burning spots all over just at random just to name a few.
Thanks for listening, any suggestions to go prepared to the neuro would be greatly appreciated.
