I have related to many of the posts from the last two days here.   I got my cervical MRI results last month and was then referred to a neurosurgeon.  My cervical MRI showed no lesions, but I do have two disc protrusions and one bulge. According to the neurosurgeon no surgery necessary at this point maybe in 10-15 years IF it continues to worsen.  No pressure is on my spinal cord.  According to the neurosurgeon, my symptoms are not stemming from these protrusions.  He has referred me to a Ear, Nose and Throat specialist to rule out any inner problem.  And has also ordered a MRA of the arteries in my neck and veins in my brain.  I have had dizziness, weakness, balance disorder, and fatigue since 1994.  I have seen 3 different neuro docs, two different Ear, Nose and Throat specialists, a neurosurgeon, a allergy doctor. I have had two brain MRI, both normal, and normal thoracic spine MRI.  My eye doctor see's nothing abnormal with my optic nerves. Not one doctor can give me any clue as to what is going on. Although, I have found it strange that I have not had ONE blood test done....that is my next step, I am going to request blood work.  The most recent neuro MD stated that after having the symptoms off and on since 1994 and still having no lesions, no bowel or bladder problems and no visual problems, he doesn't think that it is MS.  Well fine, if not, what is it I ask.  My answer is "I don't know."  Which is really assuring to hear from an MD.  Anyway, to everyone else in the same boat I am, you are not alone by far. And like you, I am sick and tired of being sick and tired.  I hate telling my 5 year old that I cannot take her for a walk around the block because mommie might not make it.  But I keep on pushing myself everyday and continue on  doing what I can when I can, I am sure like the rest of you.
Everyone take care.... I wish everyone a good day.

I'm surrprised the allergist didn't do any bloodwork. You might try seeing a rheumatologist, or an infectious disease specialist. Whatever it is that is wrong with you may not be neurological in nature (since all your tests keep coming back normal, and there are no lesions, bowel or bladder problems, or vision problems which would indicate a progression of a neurological problem). The rheumatologist might be more familiar with your particular combination of symptoms, and should be prepared to have you undergo blood testing and looking for any sort of metabolic problem.
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....

I can relate to the fatigue...I've had it since 2001, and this year has definitely been the worst so far.....

I actually read "fatigue to fanastic" yesterday and it stated that if a neuro writes on the MRI orders that patient is in severe pain in back ....almost 95% of the time the radiologist with come back with a disc problem....I have no clue how true this is other than what this one man reports. You never really stated that you've been in severe pain though so I won't assume you are.

Have you ever been told it might be CFS or Fibro?? My mom has Fibro and has every symptom you have and more.

I reread the post, I cannot believe that no one has ran any blood test on you? That's usually the first thing they make me do no matter what.
I would for sure get blood test done and try to slowly rule out a few things.

I hope things get better for you!
