Today I am having awful muscle spasm again. It's been about a week since I've had them, and the tremors have subsided a bit too in the last few days, so I was hoping I was getting better, but I guess not.

Anyway, this time I'm noticing a buzzing sensation in my muscles. I told my husband that it feels like a buzzing Charlie horse in my arms, shoulders, back and legs. Kind of like a tuning fork vibration, only a finer vibration than that.

Has anyone else had something like that - a fine vibration when your muscles are spasming? Or am I a cheeseburger shy of a Happy Meal?

I have the "buzzing" sensation but not with muscle spasms.  Mine is usually in my abdomen or back and feels like a fine shock or tingling sensation.  I do sometimes get it in my arms and hands, too.
It is definately a symptom of MS.  Baclofen works well for my charlie horses or spasticity I get in my foot and legs.
take care!  You're not short any cheeseburgers! LOL!

I also have a buzzing sensation... however it's only in one leg.  It gets worse after I exercise or have a few alcholic beverages  tongue   Is yours a constant feeling or does it come in waves every couple seconds..

Shar, my buzzing feeling today is constant with the muscle spasms.  I do have a vibration sensation most of the time from the tremors, but that has let up a bit.  This is a different feeling altogether, rather like being zapped with electricity.

I'm glad I saw this topic and read it. I have been trying to find the right word for these type of feelings. When I saw "vibration" that was it!!  I have this feeling alot lately after the spells of what seem like tremors to me or spasms. I get the vibration in my stomach, back, arms, legs and sometimes in my head too, but not all the places at once.

Lately, I have had more of these spells where my muscles are moving and I can't stop them. The first time it was my whole body, then 4 times it was just in my legs and always ends with a backache and leg pain. Today I was lying in bed resting and I reached for a ciggeratte( I know I don't need to smoke) but my hand and arm started shaking and then both hands, arms and my head as well. After that I have been having the vibrations in my head, arms and stomach most of the day.

Thank you for giving me the right word to describe this feeling. I hope you all have a good nite and take care.
