I went my neuro for my appointment and the office had an emergency so they cancelled.

Today I called my PCP to see if he would order a different Lyme test. I am also to get the blood kit from IgeneX. I don't know if I have Lyme, MS or what but I just want to rule everything out that I can.

I guess I don't buy the ear infection story the MS specialist gave me.

I also talked to a friend of my Aunt's that has MS. Maxine had gone to the same specialist. The specialist told her she didn't have MS and dismissed her. Later when Maxine went to get the report, the specialist had stated that she was neurotic. Well, Maxine called the MS society to file a complaint about the specialist. The operator told Maxine that the specialist had a habbit of putting falsehoods in patients files.

How can docs do that??? I hope she doesn't do anything to my file. Well, Maxine made an appointment with the Mayo clinic and was dx with RRMS. I just don't understand docs sometimes. The patients are already going through so much suffering physically and emotionally why would they add to it??

Sorry, I didn't mean to vent. It is just upsetting.

When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

Hey Lysha

U should ask for a copy of u'r records from that doc. That way not only will u know what that doc said, but u'll also have it for u'r own personal file. Some docs can be real pains, but not all are that way and i hope u find a really good one soon. Best wishes on the lyme test and i'll be watching for u'r update. Hang in there...we're all in u'r corner!

Hi Lysha,

I'm sorry your appointment was cancelled and I hope you got rescheduled soon. I don't blame you for questioning the specialist, especially when told that she has done this to several patients before! Please let us know what you find out about the Lyme's test and if your neuro has any additional info for you when you do get in to see them. Hang in there!
