HI All. My name is Allan and I was DX with M.S on the 31 of july, I have been fighting this for 5 or 6 years but until now had no Idea that I had M.S.  I have pins and needles in the soles of my  feet and my legs are tired and dont feel right.  This is the first time that this has happend to both of my feet but not the fist time for the pins and needles.   I let this go for so long and now I am paying for it.  Has anyone else had this in their feet and does it go away at some point.  The Doc has started me on tegratol for the pins in my feet, will this help.  Most of the time the numbness and pins and needles goes away after a while but this has been full on since May the 5th.  I have recently moved my family to Australia before all this took place and now dont have heath insurance like I did in the States so any thing you guys now of like Herbs or some alternitive Med that could help please let me know.

Welcome Allan,
I'm sorry of your diagnosis but glad you came here.  I can't help you with any alternative meds.  I nkow neurontin and lyrica are prescriptions that can help.  Maybe someone else here can help with something different.  Take care and hang in there!

I'm sorry, I don't subscribe to any of the alternative medicines... Tegratol should help, some. I hope your MS doesn't significantly worsen. Are you on any of the disease modifying drugs? I think at least Avonex and Betaseron are available in Australia...but I don't know anyting about the health care system there...
...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....
