So, I had my consult with the second neurologist today.  (Just to recap, the first doctor suspected MS, but after my MRI came back normal, he brushed me and my multitude of symptoms off.)
Anyway, this new doctor spent some time asking me questions, then gave me a very brief neuro exam which seemed rather rushed.  She then said that since my brain MRI was normal, that she doesn't think it's MS, but she wants to get an MRI of my cervical and thoracic spine, since it wasn't done before.  She also ordered a lot of blood tests (seven vials full!)
She prescribed PAMELOR for the nerve pains and numbness.  She said it may also help with my energy levels.  She told me to continue with the Flexaril for the muscle spasms.
My MRI is scheduled for next Monday, so I guess we'll see how that goes.
Also, thanks to everyone for your kind replies.  Even if I don't have MS, I appreciate your words of wisdom and support more than you'll ever know.

I'm glad your visit went well and I hope that you get some answers with the tests. It is great that you found a doc willing to help you with your symptoms at least. Perhaps with her help you can regain a sense of normalcy in your life.

Good luck with your tests and MRI,

When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

I'm glad you had your visit. I know you're anxious to get the MRI results and I look forward to finding out what it shows! Take good care!
