Well my appt at the Mayo clinic is almost here, a lil over a week away.  Having issues with the insurance company covering the whole week long visit that my husband is going to re-mortgage the house to cover it. yikes.  I think im prepared, have MRI films and reports and CD of all the mri's and cat scans performed since last July.  Med records from the hospital I will pick up this afternoon or Mon depending on when the have them ready, and got the med file from my primary care Dr already.  Plane tickets already ordered and hotel booked.  So sounds like I have it all organized, so why am I still so nervous and feel ive forgotten something? lol  One good thing about the trip is we are going a few days early to see family. I havent seen them in over 5 yrs, that will be the fun part. Then the appt lol 7am yikes again, im never awake at that time let alone dressed and at the appt.  I guess im just nervous about not knowing what will happen, what tests they will do and what they might find out.  Im just hoping they find something out, no matter what it is. That way I know how to proceed from here.

Well I have rambled on enough.  Hope everyone has a great weekend and is feeling well.

Hey Cyndi

Just wanted to let u know i'm in u'r corner and sending up many prayers for a great and revealing visit. Sounds like u'r well prepared. One question...do u have u'r symptoms journal ready to take with u? If u'r keeping a journal at all then u should prob plan on taking it to show them. I'll be thinking of u and hoping for a great and safe trip. Take care and try to relax. (i know that's easy to say!)

Hi Cyndi,

It does sound like you are quite prepared for the trip. I'm glad that you and your husband were able to work out something for you to be able to go, and a side trip to see family how wonderful! Let us know how things went when you get back! Take care of yourself.
