This is my first time posting on this forum, and I wanted to introduce myself to the group.
My name is Tracey Lynn, and I was diagnosed with RRMS in June 2004. What a roller coaster things have been since then! I am 32 years old, and I live in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada with my very supportive and loving husband and our 3 cats - my "children with fur".
I have the usual MS fatigue, which my friends and family don't seem to understand. I take 2 Provigil pills almost every morning to help, but I still hear that I need to get more exercise, and that I need more fresh air - go for a walk! It's driving me bonkers!
I'm currently taking Rebif, since January 2005. I used to be very scared of needles but now I'm a pro! My parents still cannot watch me do my injections; it's almost like they're still in denial that I have MS and for them to actually see my doing an injection is too much for them.
I currently work 30 hours per week, and sometimes I feel so overwhelmed by everything in my life. I feel like I need a month's vacation - time for me just to chill out and relax, but since that's not possible I'll just have to keep truckin' along.
I'm looking forward to meeting new friends and others who understand how I'm feeling and can relate to some of my MS problems.
