I had my gyno appointment yesterday. I don't have endometriosis or cancer!! YEAH!! The doc thinks I have/had polyps. She put me on birth control to help regulate my cycle. She doesn't think I am producing enough hormones. So for now I am ok.

I have had to be on the pill since I started menstrating. I have taken some time off of the pill so I could have children. I seem to do okay off of the pill for about a year or two and then everything goes haywire. I am just confused because my thyroid is good. So if I am not producing enough hormones what does that mean??

Thank you,

When everything's coming your way, you're in the wrong lane.

Hormone deficiency're not producing enough hormones. :)  That can affect your fertility,  but hormone deficiency can also create all sorts of health problems.   I hope the birth control pills help with maintaining hormone levels, and maybe some other health problems will level off.

...I am not a doctor, nor health professional, and don't pretend to be one, here.....

Hey Lysha

YIPPEEE on the no cancer or endo!!!! Is the doc going to do any sort of exploration for polyps or does she feel that's ok? I always had to be on bc for regulation too. I really hope this is going to do the trick for u. Yes, the bc should make the levels..ummm...level out. ;) I hope this will improve everything for u and u'll be just fine very soon.
