Had my visual evoked potential test. No biggie. Dont know when I will get results though. It was fine exept one point I started seeing colors that werent there. The red dot seemed to go brown and I saw blues and yellows and greens within the squares (which were all black and white). Think I was looking at it for too long though...
Also got a copy of my med reports. They didnt have the one from last week about my brain MRI so they are pretty useless, except the ones about my neurological exam. I did get the CD rom of my brain images but no idea how to read them or what I am looking for... Apparently I also have a "mute right toe." I guess this means it didnt respond to stimulus properly. Also, I guess this makes sense cause my arm is numb on thr right so its all on the right...
Well, lets see how the EP results go! LP on Nov 2...

Hey ConfusedGal

I'm glad to see u've got this one behind u and are on u'r way to getting more done in u'r journey thru this. Yes, evoked potentials are a breeze (thank goodness!). In fact i went to sleep during my auditory test! haha They told me to try to relax...so i did. ;) On the red dot turning to other colors, it could've been just that u were looking at it too long or too hard. It didn't happen with my test so maybe i'm just not aware of that being a prob. I'm sure others will be along to advise if it's a prob or not.

Be sure to get a copy of not only u'r mri report, but also u'r films. That way u'll have them if needed by another doc or for future comparison against other mri's. I'm not sure about the 'mute right toe'. I'd call the doc and have them explain if u can unless u'r scheduled to see them again soon anyway. Best wishes on the lp and results of the evoked pot's. I really hope they're revealing for u.
