Hey guys...I hate to burden you with my issues, but this seems to be the best place to ask people who are experienced in this stuff. I was terrified that i had optic neuritis...I started seeing stars and stuff...went to the optometrist and told me that my eyes are perfect. Anyways, i really didn't have many of the other dominant symptoms of the disease such as double vision, color blindness, pain, etc... So that i can toss aside without being overly dramatic about. However, I have had this brain fog for a while, and am finding it really difficult to concentrate now and then. I have anxiety problems, and when I am not anxious, the fog tends to subside a little. But, regardless of the logic that the anxiety causes the fog, I cannot get over the fact that it is neurological or based on MS. Today I was playing basketball, first time exercising in a very long time, and for a split second, maybe five seconds total, the pinky and ring finger on both of my hands was tingly...not numb, but a mild tingle. So of course this threw me into a whirlwind, I panicked, and now I am writing this note. I have not had many other symptoms that would remind me of what I have read about MS, and deep down I have a hunch that it is not, but I am so obsessed with the thought that I cannot leave it alone. Does the brain fog and slight short lived tingle sound like anything that resembles MS? Let me know what you guys think. I appreciate your courtesy in responding. Thanks.

Hi Papitodd,
I'm glad you got your eyes checked and everything is ok! :-)   Fogginess and short lived numbness like what you are experiencing are common with anxiety sufferers.  It really doesn't sound like MS at all.  Take good care of yourself :-)
