Hey Gang:  Does anyone out there go to P.T.?  I go 3 x/wk and also have a home program.  I started Monday.  My question is that if you do have a P.T. schedule, what results have you seen and how long have you been on the program to see these results?  The P.T. is my relief from all of this.  Thanks for input.

Dear Pegleg:

Physical therapy is great!!!!!!!!!!!

You cannot put an actual plus/minus evaluation on the whole PT issue, but....

As long as your insurance covers it, and it is no big deal getting to rehab/PT locale, go for it.

You might not see an actual improvement, but the exercises given to you by Physical therapists is always beneficial.

Go for it!!!  jOHN

Dear Motown John: I've been 3 times to P.T. and cannot believe the difference. My balance is so much better. Today we started working on strengthening my left side. The more I use it, the less I have feeling in the leg, but if we don't push it, I don't know what the outcome can be. I love the home PT program they gave me, also. It's simple and I can do small things throughout the day. My insurance pays for 13 sessions and then my MD can put in for more. As long as the the therapist thinks I'm improving, I'm going to keep up the P.T. Thanks for your encouragement!

Dear Pegleg:

My pleasure.  And if you go to the rehab center, they sure have a full range of equipment to help everyone....

Great Luck.  John
