Been a week now since the IV steroids and I am FINALLY starting to come around!
Rhonda- I did call my doctor and told her everthing that was going on and she suggested a wait and see approach and offered a script for a walker, which I declined!
I drove for the first time today in almost two weeks, which was nice. I was too tired to drive before, and I am able to do the dishes now without paying for it in a BIG way later. The pain is gone in my feet! I still loose balance and have little strength and take colace. My cognitive abilities make me feel like a dumb blonde, which is fun under the right circumstances. lol
I still have a ways to go till I am back to how I was a month ago, but I am thankful that I have turned that terrible corner and I have enough energy to just post a note here and THANK YOU ALL for your kindness and support!

Hi Sandy,
Thanks for the update and so happy to hear it's good news. That is terrific you are doing better.   Indeed the effectiveness of steroids varies and some experience a delayed response to feeling better.  I bet getting out was wonderful for you!  Take care of yourself and I hope it gets better yet :-)
