I haven't been here for almost a month or more... ={ seems like forever. I didn't want to post till I was back at work and feeling back to my "normal." Last I posted I just finished a round of IV steroids and wasn't doing so well. I am still not doing well. I went to my neuro on the 28th fully expecting to return to work a couple days later... She suggested another round of IV steroids and didn't think I was ready to return to work! I thought I was doing well! My walking and balance had improved and have very little pain. I am just EXTREMELY fatigued, but that was getting better too. Now I am back to sleeping A LOT and my balance is getting worse, as is my memory and using the right words when I speak. Tommarrow I am leaving on a cruise for Mexico which should be fun, my neuro wanted me to get some labs done on Friday before i left, but I lost the paperwork...If I stay away from the alcohol I shoudl be fine lol
My concern is that she saw something at the appointment that I am not aware of. I thought I was doing good! I want to go back to work! And I just wish this fatigue would let up for even just a day! I want to start something, like the dishes, and finish it without taking a 2 hour nap afterwards. On a happy note I just finished my B.S.N. this last semester and my grades were better then expected! I was expecting and hoping for a 2.0 with everything that has been going on, but ended up with a 3.14 (down from a perfect 4.0, but I am not complaining!).
I look forward to reading about everything that has been happening in the last month or so. Take care, and happy New Years to everyone!

I'm sorry you're not doing well. I can't imagine trying to combine a job, school and maintaining a home, all at the same time, with MS!

I hope you enjoy your cruise, and get plenty of rest and relaxation.
