Well I finally heard from my GI doc's nurse today.  I had the xray last week, she said it showed "constipation".  We all know I'm constipated!
The doc was supposed to write a letter to another gi specialist here and fax it and my records........she is in the process of doing that but doesn't hold much hope I'll get in!  Just great!   I asked the nurse what am I supposed to do?  She said that the doc doesn't know what to tell me right now, she knows it's bad and she says for me to wait and see if the other doc agrees to see me and if not they'll go from there. They said I am very complicated because of the ms and all and there isn't anything else to try.
So there you have it.....as usual I know nothing more!  I'm trying to "hang in there" but I feel "hung out to dry"!
Thanks for your thoughts and support.

I'm so sorry this isn't resolved for you just yet! Waiting is the pits.... :(

Michelle, I know you've had a rough time lately and I hope the waiting isn't too much longer.  At least your current GI doc is willing to try to exhaust all options first, even if that means seeing another specialist.  I wish you well in whatever happens and know that you are very much cared about here.

Hey Michelle

I'm so sorry u'r going thru all this! Know we're all here...each and every one of us...rooting for u and sending up very special prayers. Do u think the MS Society would be able to help u get in to see that doc or get u in touch with another such doc?? Seems like such a jerk around u'r getting, but i guess they're doing all they can. I hope to hear soon that u'r doing better and will keep u in my thoughts and prayers friend.

I'm sorry to hear about the news Michelle. I say try Rhonda's advice and see if the MS Society has some pull for you. Good luck.

Hi Michelle,

This must be so frustrating for you.  It sounds like you've tried everything you can to fix this and it's out of your hands... I hope this will get resolved really soon, it's been long enough.  Thanks for keeping us updated.
