Hey Buckeye....

Started mine at 7:00pm tonight too. :) Hope you did better than me! Had a total breakdown. Couldn't do it. Had to have my husband step in. Granted, this is my first experience with any kind of injection.

Good luck and keep us posted on how this is working for you.

oh I had a little break down of my own. She wanted me to start in the belly and just couldn't do it. I started in my arm so that i knew what to expect. It went better than expected, that's for sure. I turned in to Bad *** mode just did it. My arm is a little sore still, but it beats Avonex IMs.

I think its something that I can stick to and if I tell myself its only for a little while and that they are going to come out with something better soon than I'm OK with that.

I hope all goes well tonight for you. I would try again to do it on your own. I feel that I have some control over what is happening to me when I do it instead of having something done to me.

Littlechina and Buckeye,

Good job to both of you!  First one is always the hardest and it is my hope that it will become easier for you both.  Littlechina, maybe in time you'll feel comfortable enough to give it another go.  Most people give it to themselves, but there are some, for whatever reason, who can't so don't feel bad about it or anything just keep trying :-) It's great you have a hubby that's willing to help you!  Good luck to you both, keep us updated on how things go .
