have been diagnosed for about 2 years, but neuro thinks i probably had it 10 years or more. began with my falling down a lot. had "ants" crawling around one leg. felt lost only a few blocks from home. my gp suspected ms, and sent me to neuro at jefferson hospital in philly. after mri & spinal, both definitely pointed to ms. before this diagnosis, saw other neuros/psych. who dx me w/bipolar, wanted only to disprove seizures, depression, but never tested me for ms because i was too old (over 50)!!! now i'm on a "cocktail" of rebif, IVIG drip, cymbalta, seroquel and wellbutrin. feeling much better. glad i found this site again. sorta' misplaced it for a while, but ms can do that! LOL! linda

Hey Linda!

Good to see u back here as well! I thought i remembered u! I'm so glad ur feeling better! Yes, sometimes docs don't want to think ms if u'r outside the 'normal' age ranges, but as u said, u've had it about there u are...inside the 'normal' ranges. MS is such a tricky disease to pin down too that oftentimes it's just misdiagnosed or missed entirely. I'm glad they finally did the appropiate tests and dx'd u correctly. Good to see u'r doing well on the meds and are back here again with us! Take good care and let us know how u'r doing.
