Hi all,
Thanks for those of you that sent your kind words and thoughts and prayers! It made my day.
My surgery went fine.  I am still quite sore in the area they implanted the battery pack.  I can tell it is helping the bladder but not the bowels yet.  I hope it will do both!  I have had quite a time this week because of the anesthesia and drugs blocking me up more so.
Welcome to the newbies.  I hope all of you will find great info. and comfort here.  All of us diagnosed and undiagnosed have to hang in there...neither is a picnic!
I had another mri before the surgery and it showed some new spots, I haven't gotten the report yet and I won't see the neuro until April.  My thought process seems in slow motion anymore, I just can't seem to get it all together in my head.  Also, I seem to be very shaky inside, more so with time.
Take care. :-)

I'm soooo glad to see u!!! GOOD u'r seeing some improvement and hopefully more with time for u'r bowels. Do the docs have any insight as far as how long before u'll see improvement in the bowels? Hang in there on the soreness...u know better than i that in time that will go. I imagine u'r thought process will improve in time as well. Seems sometimes going thru something like surg just plays tricks on u'r mimd at times and maybe that's all it is here. Please let us know what the mri report says and THANKS SO MUCH for updating us here!!! I can't tell u how glad i am to see u on!!! :))

I'm glad to see you back! Sometimes it takes awhile for the anesthetic to clear your system...that's probably part of your fuzzy head. I hope you continue to mend. Take care!
