Hi all,

I haven't been on in awhile because life is really hectic sometimes. After being in limboland for almost a year, my latest mri's showed small but new lesions in the brain and C-spine.  Dr. called today and said it is MS but it is mild and wants me to start on Avonex.

Wow, I finally feel like I am not a hypochondriac. I feel validated for all my wierdness. But I am in shock, this is big news and I don't even know what things to ask the Dr.  On top of this I am scheduled for knee surgery on Apr. 23. I don't have time to be upset!!HAHA

Actually, I'm not upset at all right now. Maybe later but not now. Much anticipated questions have finally been answered. I thank all of you who have talked to me in the past and made my news today bearable. I'm glad I have this place to come to!!!!

Hearing the diagnosis is always a shock, no matter how prepared we think we are to hear the words.  I'm sorry! Give yourself a bit of time to take it in, then go on living your life.

Good luck with your knee surgery! My friend just had that done yesterday...I should call her and see how she's doing!
